Privacy policy

SkyRule is published by Andrea Mariniello, trading as Skyworks, who is the data controller for any personal data described here. In short: the app does not send your information to us.

The app

SkyRule has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking.

• Values you enter, timers and settings are stored only on your device. Deleting the app removes them.
• Location is used only if you tap "Use my location" on the Sun & Night screen, to calculate times for where you are. It is not stored off your device or sent to us. You can turn off access in iOS Settings at any time.
• Notifications for timers are scheduled on your device.
• Purchases are handled by Apple. We don't receive your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies.

This website and the web demo

The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The web demo saves your entries and settings in your own browser, and they are not sent to us. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If you contact us

If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply, on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing support, and keep them only as long as needed for that.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold about you. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local data protection authority.
